Beaver - Various Projects
(even if they did dub my voice out in favour of having another star name on the poster, Joe Flarehety)
One of our first realistic animal replica puppets, this Canadian icon had to go straight for the throat of an obnoxious bar patron.
Our beaver was hand puppeteered with a cable controlled sneer and tail flap. The puppet was so effective it found it's way into two other commercials alongside the short film "Waiting For The Man"seen at the Sundance Film Festival. As well as the feature film "Phil the Alien" where I played Phil's abrasive sidekick named "Beaver"(even if they did dub my voice out in favour of having another star name on the poster, Joe Flarehety).
