for this, my 5th New Sinking Ship Series, our biggest challenge was creating a 36' long, organic, crashed spaceship. It's spiral / helical design with extruded bubble dome canopy required unique solutions to not only a challenging deadline, but had to be kept in line with budgetary goals. The functional exterior and interior of the ship both act as practical sets which the young cast could not only explore, but climb on inside and out. Lit with 10,000 hidden LED's the colour pallet of the interior could be changed to hundreds of variations in seconds
